What is Doura jewellery made of?

Surgical-grade (316L) stainless steel with a bonded 18K gold or rhodium PVD coating. It's hypoallergenic, nickel-free and skin-safe, and the finish is rated to last far longer than traditional plating.

Is it waterproof? Can I shower, swim and work out in it?

Yes. Every piece is waterproof, sweatproof and skin-safe, made for daily wear — showers, the gym, swimming pools and the ocean. We do recommend avoiding harsh chemicals (chlorine concentrate, bleach, or perfume sprayed directly onto the piece) to protect the finish over time.

Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?

No. Because the base metal is stainless steel (not brass or copper) and the gold/rhodium coating is bonded via PVD, there's no reaction with skin or sweat that causes discolouration. If your piece ever changes colour within 2 years, our warranty covers a free replacement.

Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

We ship across Australia. Orders are processed within 24 hours and arrive in 5–7 business days.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on every order within Australia, with no minimum spend.

What is your return policy?

You have 60 days from delivery to return any unworn item in its original packaging for a full refund. Email info@shopdoura.com to start a return — we'll send a prepaid label and refund to your original payment method once we receive the item.

What does the 2-year warranty cover?

It covers manufacturing defects and loss of colour on the PVD coating for 2 years — we'll repair or replace your piece free. It doesn't cover damage from impact, loss, or extreme conditions (for example, months of saltwater exposure without rinsing).

How do I choose my size?

Open the size guide on any product page for rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for rings and bracelets.
